It is a new generation of essential oil disinfectant, extracted from thyme oil. THYME 2 CLEAN is a 100% biodegradable broad-spectrum contact bactericide, fungicide, and virucide for use in a wide range of food industries, on surfaces, for buildings, process equipment, tools, and boot bath. It is effective in the presence of organic material (up to 20%). THYME 2 CLEAN is non-corrosive, non-toxic, and completely natural. For its detergent action, it is ideal to use in disinfection of all kinds of surfaces like concrete, wood, plastic, and rubber. Also, it can be used during the harvest and postharvest to clean and disinfect fruits and vegetables using immersion, recirculating or injection systems. THYME 2 CLEAN can be used as nebulization for the disinfection of environments as well.

THYME 2 CLEAN is effective against a broad spectrum of gram negative and gram positive organisms such as: Salmonella, Listeria, E.coli O157:H7, Shigella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus suis, pyogenes and many others.  It is effective as a fungicide against molds and yeasts, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, and as a virucide against Norovirus. Also, its use is extended to the control of the common fly, mites, and whitefly.

Directions for use

To disinfect hard surfaces, dilute in water at 1% rate (10 ml/1000 ml). Cover the entire surface using atomizer/pressure cleaner, allow 5 to 10 minutes contact time. Post application rinsing is not required. For equipment that has direct contact with food, rinse with drinking water. THYME 2 CLEAN regular formula, can be used on porous surfaces due to its foaming action.

For disinfection of fruits and vegetables with a thick peel, dilute in water at 1%; post application rinsing is not required. For disinfection of fruits and vegetables with a thin peel, dilute in water at 0.5%, allow 4 to 5 minutes contact time, and rinse with drinking water.

THYME 2 CLEAN is exempted from EPA registration under FIFRA 25 (b).
